In Godiasco (PV), we offer for sale the sixteenth-century Palazzo Pedemonti Malaspina, a jewel on the hills of Oltrepò Pavese, an area with a wine-growing tradition in the heart of the thermal area of Salice Terme.
This palace has a long history, elegant finishes, features wooden, frescoes ceilings and terracotta and parquet floors. The property is embellished by a garden with secular trees, stables and garages. The cellars store precious oak barrels. The building, which covers approximately 3,000 sqm, has undergone various expansions. In 1712, a suspended passage was built between the parish church and the residence, allowing Cardinal Alberoni to secretly attend religious functions. Here he was, in fact, hidden for a few years in a secret apartment, accessible only by a narrow staircase carved between the walls, to escape Pope Clement XV.
